Matt Dessner got his start in front of the camera, appearing in television commercials, TV shows, and movies during the 1980s and ’90s. He later transitioned into directing TV test commercials for global advertising agencies, where he helped shape brand stories for campaigns such as Lucky Charms, Listerine, Tyson, Cheerios, Tylenol, Jeep, Samsung, Porsche, GMC, and many others.

Today, Matt’s work spans the worlds of Runway Fashion, behind-the-scenes (BTS) photography, and live concert events. His ability to capture the energy and spontaneity of these high-energy environments infuses his work with intimate moments and documentary storytelling, creating vivid, immersive imagery.

In addition to his work in fashion and music, Matt crafts compelling narratives through his street photography, blending the immediacy of modern life with the nostalgic charm of oversized Polaroid frames.
